We believe a fulfilling life is made up of many things: curiosity and knowledge, creativity and imagination, courage and adventure, calm and discovery.
That is why we create products that accompany people, enrich their lives and bring them joy. Sometimes playful, sometimes inspiring, sometimes educational and sometimes simply entertaining.

The founders
Daria and Christian Helck
It all began at the kitchen table, in the middle of the COVID pandemic. Out of the wish to solve puzzles together instead of looking at screens, the FLITCH sliding puzzle was born. And with it the idea behind everything that followed: making things that keep you curious.
Daria Helck writes because she sees gaps and fills them. When her son needed something that didn't exist, she read up on the subject and made a workbook for him and for kids like him. When she noticed how little kids and teens know about the economy, she started a bilingual series that explains it, with two kids who are not by chance named Daria and Christian.
Two things drive her: good education for kids and teens, and personal growth, the freedom to keep growing, throughout life. This leads to very different books and products. One thing connects them: they take their readers seriously and meet them at eye level.
Behind the scenes, Christian Helck is the technical mind who turns ideas into products: reliable, well thought out and made with attention to detail.

FLITCH places particular value on curiosity, creativity, knowledge, personal growth and bringing classic and modern worlds together. The books are made for kids and teens and for the adults who accompany them. FLITCH is an owner-run company (FLITCH UG) based in Braunschweig, Germany.
