No. FLITCH makes books for curious kids, roughly from 8 to 14, and with ELSEWISE its own brand for teens. Many pages are also written for the adults who go along with them: parents and teachers who want to talk with kids and teens about money, feelings and the world. The FLITCH sliding puzzle is a brainteaser for all ages.

ELSEWISE is our brand for teens: short cards about everyday life, friendship, school, the future and boundaries, without wagging fingers. A free sample page is coming soon, with no account and no email. The Klar im Kopf series for younger readers is part of ELSEWISE too. We don't make diagnoses and don't offer coaching.

FLITCH was founded by Daria Helck and is a brand of FLITCH UG, based in Braunschweig, Germany. The brand grew from the conviction that curiosity, creativity, knowledge and courage are important companions for a fulfilled life. Behind the scenes, Christian Helck is the technical mind who turns ideas into products.

At the kitchen table, in the middle of the pandemic: out of the wish to puzzle together instead of staring at screens, the FLITCH sliding puzzle was born. The family project became a product – and the product became a brand for everything that keeps you curious.

Because you should not have to choose: books, stories, creativity and classic brainteasers are just as valuable as modern technologies and digital skills. FLITCH combines the best of both worlds.

The Business Guinea Pigs (Die Wirtschaftsschweinchen) are a bilingual children's book series (German/English) for kids 10+ that tells economics and politics as everyday adventures, with the four guinea pigs Rocky, Mr. Grey, Toffy and Mojito. Six volumes are available on Amazon; ten are planned. Everything about the series, the characters and the learning world is on wirtschaftsschweinchen.de (in German).

For kids aged 10 to 14 who think a lot and feel a lot. The 5-week workbook came about because Daria's son needed something that did not exist: understanding feelings, recognising needs, building confidence – with prompts for parents at the end of each block.

It combines real exploring with a personal journal: kids raise triops, observe, document and create – with checklists, puzzles and space for their own drawings, photos and notes.

The big hands-on knowledge book about artificial intelligence for kids aged 10 and up, with Professor Grey. It explains how AI learns and why it sometimes makes things up, and how to use AI helpers like Claude wisely and safely. With ten hands-on projects, more than 75 question ideas and a chapter for grown-ups.

The FLITCH puzzle is a premium 15-tile sliding puzzle with magnetic metal tiles that trains focus, logic and patience – and gives you screen-free time. It is currently sold out; it is not yet certain when it will be available again.

Yes. The Instructions & solutions page lists all 15 patterns from the booklet with the shortest solution, move by move. Two of them can even be solved in fewer moves than the booklet says.

The books are published mainly in German; the Business Guinea Pigs are bilingual German/English, and COZY AUTUMN is also available in Spanish. This website is available in German, English and Spanish.

Six volumes of the Business Guinea Pigs are out, most recently Volume 6 “Rocky kauft eine Aktie”. The winter book with Mila and Liv is in the works. The AI book „KI? Kann ich!“ is already available. News always comes first in our news and on Instagram.
